Who We Are

Aggarwal & Co was founded in 1986, in Rainham, Kent. Since that time, the company has grown to operate from four local branches. There are three partners and over 30 members of staff serving more than 2500 clients across Kent, London and the rest of the UK.

We are an independent practice and proud of the professional reputation we have earned. We ensure that we protect our clients interests by observing the very highest technical, ethical and professional accounting standards.

As well as a full range of audit, accountancy and taxation services, Aggarwal & Co has an extensive range of specialist expertise it can offer on other matters such as assisting with obtaining finance from banks, business planning, and working within a number of different industry sectors.

Anil Aggarwal FCA CTA

Anil is the founding partner of the firm and has extensive personal and corporate tax experience. He also advises high net worth individuals and looks after a portfolio of family and owner managed businesses. He manages the firm’s tax department providing (amongst other services) tax consultancy to solicitors, fellow accountants and advises commercial businesses in their tax, auditing, accounting and strategy needs.

Anil qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with MacIntyre Hudson and went on to join the tax department of Touché Ross (now Deloitte) in the City where he specialised in Tax qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). Anil started the firm in 1986 at the Rainham office and has overseen its growth and development since that time. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA) and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA).

Richard Abel FCA CTA

Richard has built up a strong reputation in the “not-for-profit” sector both with charities and community amateur sports and social clubs. He has also developed his tax expertise to focus on trusts and inheritance tax issues.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with MacIntyre Hudson in 1983, Richard moved to Peat Marwick Mitchell where two years later he also qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). He joined Judkins in Rochester becoming a partner in 1986. He branched out launching his own practice in 1989 which he built successfully and went on to merge with Aggarwal & Co Ltd in 2006. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA) and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA).

Ravi Kalsi FCCA

Ravi qualified in 1986 and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Prior to joining Aggarwal & Co in 1991, Ravi gained valuable commercial experience as a financial controller in the construction industry working for construction and plant hire companies. He also worked in the magazine publishing industry.

Ravi is a Partner who deals with all aspects of accounting, taxation and computer accounting software. He has a portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses and deals with the accounts preparation and tax compliance for clients, with a particular emphasis on growing businesses.
